I Deleted My Fiverr Account Despite Earning Over $10k: Things Need To Change
It’s gone.
The thing that I worked incredibly hard to nurture…has disappeared.
And all it took was one click of a button.
I had been working on Fiverr for the best part of two years consistently, alongside my full-time job. And yes…it was possible.
There were certainly some busy periods where I had 5+ orders in the queue with 5 days delivery time on each. All I saw were the numbers.
$150, $300, $75.
I got excited. But as soon as I saw the numbers, I got complacent. The thought that the money had already gone into my account. All I had to do was put together a post and send it off.
So, yes. It’s my fault really.
I got lazy.
But the way Fiverr works was unfair. Some of the time I’d put my expertise together, spend hours producing an SEO blog post for a low-budget (as Fiverr typically allows for) client to tell me the work wasn’t up to scratch and that they’d like they’re money back.
The problem was that the high-paying clients that I had off the platform were amazed with the SEO articles that they received.
